How to Use Your lotus® Home Cleaning System

The system has two main functions:

• to clean and sanitize surfaces with the spray a bottle
• to remove pesticides and kill germs on food and small object with a bowl

Built-in sensors monitor and guarantee effectiveness of lotus Home liquefied ozone process occurs in every cycle. The LED indicator on the unit will show 100% once the liquefied ozone has been fully activated. An audible beep will warn users that the 15 minute period for maximum sanitizing is over.

Spray Bottle

• Made from tap water in about two minutes, the liquefied ozone is ready to be used to sanitize and remove tough stains for 15 minutes, then 45 minutes to become an extra-strength cleaner.

Multi-purpose Bowl

• Maximum bacteria and pesticide reduction may be achieved within 4 minutes. It may take up to 8 minutes depending on the amount of contaminants on the produce. By removing the bacteria, viruses and pesticides, the lotus brings out the natural flavor and taste as well as makes them last up to four times as long.
• Kills bacteria which rinsing under the tap alone cannot achieve. (CNN report: rinsing under tap water or using veggie washes does remove significant amounts of germs; bleach with water achieved only 60% of germs in lab tests.)

Set Up Instructions:

1. Remove the Red Cap from the center reservoir.
   Note: If transporting the unit the red cap ensures that water from the base does not leak out.

 

2. Insert the Filter Cartridge filter into your lotus Sanitizing System.
   Note:Replacing your Filter Cartridge every three months allows you to maximize the power of your unit by removing moisture from the air.

3. Simply fill the Spray Bottle with cold tap water and place on the base unit.
• Select appropriate button and start the process.
• In about 2 minutes the liquefied ozone is ready to be used for up to 15 minutes for optimal sanitizing and 45 minutes for powerful cleaning clean.
• A countdown timer on the unit tells you that it is time to reload and recharge for optimal sanitizing
4. When using the Multi-Purpose Bowl add the produce and fill the bowl with cold tap to the Max-Fill line. Attach the retainer to the lid to keep the produce submerged in water.
• Select appropriate button and start the process.
• Maximum bacteria and pesticide reduction may be achieved in 4 minutes but may take up to 8 minutes if the produce has many contaminants or pesticides.(e.g. grapes)
• Once the lotus process is 100% complete your produce is free of pesticides and bacteria making the produce taste better and last up to 4 times longer!

Note: We recommend that the produce is washed to remove loose of dirt before starting..

More ways to use the lotus® Home
For cleaning and sanitizing simply twist the nozzle counter-clockwise for a stream mode. This is effective on:
